Refund Processing Information
Following the refund release date for each semester, Student Account Services will process refund requests submitted by noon on Wednesdays by Friday of the same week.
Students can submit their Refund Request through FoxPay.
Refund status can be monitored via Account Activity on FoxPay. Once a “Student Refund” or “Parent PLUS Refund” is posted under your account activity, the following timelines apply:
- Direct Deposit: Funds will be transmitted to your bank within 3–5 business days. The actual date the refund is received may vary depending on your bank’s processing procedures.
- Paper Check: A check will be mailed to the permanent address on file within 3–5 business days of the posting date. Please note that once mailed, delivery is subject to the U.S. Postal Service, and Rollins College cannot control transit times.
Refunds and Deferments
Financial aid funds are applied to the student’s account balance first. A student is eligible for a refund only if the account reflects a credit balance. In cases where a student has submitted a deferment form from an employer, the student may retain the funds upon receipt from the employer.
